FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man was arrested on multiple charges following a crash Sunday evening in Fargo.
A Cass County Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for reckless driving around 8 p.m. The driver, 40-year-old Jens Tinjum, fled for a short distance before he crashed into an unoccupied vehicle in the 3600 block of 18th Street South.
Tinjum displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI and is facing more charges:
Felony-Reckless Endangerment
Felony-Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle
Driving Under the Influence-Chemical Test Refusal
Misdemeanor-Disobedience to Court Order
Citations:
72 mph in a 25 mph zone
Disregarding a Stop Sign
No Insurance
No bystanders were hurt. Tinjum was transported to a hospital for medical clearance before being transported to the Cass County Jail.
